1. Who we are
Bare Rent Car USA LLC ("we", "us") operates this website and manages reservations and payments in U.S. dollars for car rentals. The rental service itself is provided in the Dominican Republic by Bare Rent Car, which owns or manages the vehicles and delivers them to you.
2. Reservations
A reservation is confirmed once payment is completed and you receive a confirmation by email. Prices are shown in U.S. dollars and include the daily rate for the dates selected.
Vehicle availability is guaranteed for the confirmed dates. If, for reasons within our control, we cannot deliver the reserved car, we will provide a vehicle of equal or higher category or refund your payment in full.
3. Driver requirements
The driver must be at least 25 years old (21–24 with a young driver fee), hold a valid driver’s license for at least 1 year, and present a passport or national ID at pick-up.
4. Security deposit
A security deposit of $500 (or its equivalent in Dominican pesos) is collected in the Dominican Republic at pick-up and returned when the vehicle is returned in the same condition, minus any damages, fines, fuel or tolls not covered.
5. Insurance and use of the vehicle
Every rental includes the mandatory basic insurance required by Dominican law. Optional full coverage may be offered at pick-up. The vehicle may only be driven by the registered driver(s), within the Dominican Republic, and in accordance with local traffic laws.
6. Payments and installments
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Installment options through Affirm or Klarna are offered and approved by those providers under their own terms; we do not set their rates or decide eligibility.
7. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Cancellation and Refund Policy.
8. Our guarantee
We will be waiting for you at the agreed pick-up place and time. If we fail to deliver your reserved vehicle (or an equivalent one), we refund the full amount you paid.
